Cybersecurity Researchers on Bug Bounty Platform

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF USE (GCU) Between Bugbounty LLC (registered in the Sultanate of Oman) and Cybersecurity Researcher

Please read these General Conditions of Use (GCU) carefully before registering as a cybersecurity researcher on Oman Bug Bounty platform “www.bugbounty.om”. By registering and using the platform, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these GCU, please refrain from using the platform.

1. Eligibility:

a) By registering on the Bug Bounty platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old , based in Sultanate of Oman and have the necessary legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

b) You further confirm that you possess the required knowledge, skills, and expertise in the field of cybersecurity to participate in vulnerability identification and reporting.

2. Account Creation:

a) You are responsible for creating and maintaining your Bug Bounty platform account. You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.

b) You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and ensuring the security of your account.

3. Ethical and Lawful Conduct:

a) As a cybersecurity researcher, you agree to conduct your activities on the Bug Bounty platform in an ethical, professional, and lawful manner.

b) You shall not engage in any malicious activities, unauthorized access, or activities that could cause harm to the platform, its users, or any third-party systems. c. You shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards during your participation in the Bug Bounty program.

4. Responsible Disclosure:

a) You understand and agree to follow responsible disclosure practices when identifying and reporting vulnerabilities on the Bug Bounty platform.

b) You shall not publicly disclose or share any vulnerability details or related information without the explicit consent of the platform owner or the affected organization.

c) You agree to provide accurate and detailed vulnerability reports, including clear steps to reproduce the issue, relevant supporting materials, and any other necessary information.

5. Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality:

a) You acknowledge that the Bug Bounty platform and the information shared on it may contain confidential and sensitive data.

b) You agree to treat all information obtained through the platform as confidential and shall not disclose or use it for any unauthorized purposes.

6. Compliance with Bug Bounty Policies:

a) You shall comply with all Bug Bounty platform policies, guidelines, and rules as provided by the platform owner.

b) You understand that failure to comply with the platform's policies may result in the suspension or termination of your account.

7. Intellectual Property:

a) You retain ownership of any intellectual property rights associated with your vulnerability reports.

b) By submitting vulnerability reports, you grant the Bug Bounty platform owner and relevant organizations a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute the reports for the purpose of vulnerability remediation.

8. Compensation and Rewards:

a) The Bug Bounty platform may offer compensation or rewards for valid vulnerability reports based on their severity, impact, and adherence to the program's guidelines.

b) The specific terms and conditions for compensation and rewards will be communicated separately by the platform owner.

9. Disclaimer of Liability:

a) You acknowledge and agree that your participation in the Bug Bounty program is voluntary, and you assume all risks associated with your activities on the platform.

b) The Bug Bounty platform owner and its affiliates shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of your participation in the program or any actions taken in response to your vulnerability reports.

10. Termination:

a) The Bug Bounty platform owner reserves the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time without prior notice or liability if you violate these GCU or engage in activities detrimental to the platform or its users.

11. Modifications:

a) The Bug Bounty platform owner reserves the right to modify or update these GCU at any time. It is your responsibility to review and familiarize yourself with the most recent version.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction:

a) These GCU shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sultanate of Oman.

b) Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these GCU shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sultanate of Oman.

By registering and using the Bug Bounty platform as a cybersecurity researcher, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these General Conditions of Use (GCU).
